Well, I feel abandoned.

Brittany, who drives me to pre-student teaching every Monday, and usually sits next to me in Math, is all the way across the room today. I dunno what I did, but I guess it just reinforces the fact that's been evident since middle school: I'm really not appealing to most people, or friend material, I guess.

I shouldn't let this get me down. I'm in freakin' grad school, for crying out loud. However, I've only really got one friend right in real life right now, and that's Bryan. It's hard for me to not have friends.


In other news, only half the class showed up to Math today. I think they all forgot that the final was due today and decided to stay home to avoid handing it in.

I'm sorry she made you feel abandoned. I always hate it when people do that, whether it's some passive-aggressive thing on her part or just a thoughtless accident. :(

I have the same problem. It's hard to make new friends as an adult. In grade school, if you liked the same ice cream *BAM!* instant best friends... :-P It's more complicated now, though.

hi, i just saw your post in the LJ bssm comm.

i wanted to let you know what you can at least have solace that you are NOT alone, because i too (and mysteriously recently) have been having the same thoughts and feelings. *hug* so, being in the same position, i've no advice to give you really, i'm afraid... but i'd like to believe that regardless of the longevity of our situations, there is always a way to turn things around~ so let's do our best to keep our chins up and move forward. :3
